Is it just me, or has every superhero in the movies this year been a scruffy drifter?

Konnichiwa everyone! This is your Ronin, Richard, here! Today, I present to you another movie review! This time, I’ll be reviewing the newest film in the X-Men series, The Wolverine! This is the latest film to focus 100% on Wolverine. Last time, we got a complete pile of garbage called X-Men Origins: Wolverine. This time, fans were hoping Wolverine’s latest adventure wouldn’t be a total stinkbomb. So, is The Wolverine a huge waste of time, or has Logan finally been given the film adaptation he deserves? Hello everyone! It’s your courageous warrior against crime, Richard, here! Today, I present to you another episode of COMICS! In this week’s episode, I review DC Comics latest digital first Bat-Book: Batman ’66! This new series is DC’s way of reviving the 60s TV Show starring Adam West and Burt Ward. I am a massive fan of the 60s Batman show! Sure, it’s not the grim, gritty, psychologically driven version of Batman we see today. That being said, It’s a version of Batman I still love. The only very, In my opinion, that can do a funny Batman well. Also, in the review, I take a look at Batman, Incorporated #12, Demeter by Becky Cloonan, and Green Arrow #22! Another Man of Steel video? REALLY?!?! DISLIKE!

Man of Steel. We’ve already talked about it a bunch. Dan did an episode on it. I did an episode on it. Man, what more is there to talk about? Well, there is this one thing. Whenever I talk to my friends that didn’t like Man of Steel, the main complaint they mention is the way the movie ended. I won’t say what, but something happens that others have argued is VERY out of character for Superman. No, he doesn’t reveal himself to be a British actor, if you get my reference. So, this is a big week for Superman fans, and I don’t just mean because Man of Steel is out in theaters. DC Comics, who has been struggling with ALL of their Superman books for years, might have finally released a comic worthy to be a Superman book! The book is called Superman Unchained, and it’s written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Jim Lee. Before you ask, no….the S is not silent. Superman Unchained is probably my most anticipated superhero comic to be released this year. I mean, my favorite writer and a legendary artist is tackling the series. So of course I am pumped to read it! Now, the book has finally been released, and so the big question is this. Is the book any good? Well, you’ll just have to find out by watching my newest video! Coulson Lives!!

On Sunday, during the season finale of Once Upon a Time, we were treated to a first look at Marvel’s newest addition to it’s Marvel Cinematic Universe: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Today…I present to you a one take review of the conclusion to one of the best Joker tale’s I’ve read since The Killing Joke: Death of the Family! Death of the Family was a big Joker event that took place in all the main Bat books from DC Comics, recently. While the event itself has faced some severe criticism from fans and critics alike, the main story line in Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s Batman run has received anything but. Especially from me! Jimmy or Jenny…kind of sounds like a sequel to Ed Wood’s Glen or Glenda, don’t it?

Hello super friends! It’s your alien refugee, Richard, here! Today, I present to you an episode of COMICS! in which I review two AMAZING comic issues from last week. After that, I discuss an interesting bit of news that has been going around since Monday. As you know, this summer will see the latest film to feature Superman. While the film is only months away from release, we barely know a thing about it.

Little by little, as we reach closer to the big day, small nuggets of information emerge. Answering questions we’ve had since the announcement of Man of Steel. One of those questions was whether or not Jimmy Olsen, photographer for the Daily Planet, would appear in the film. He has shown up in pretty much every adaptation of Superman ever, but there didn’t seem to be any sign of him in Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan’s take on the superhero.

One day, while surfing the Man of Steel IMDB page, website Comicbookmovie.com found the answer to that question. Jimmy Olsen IS going to be in the film, but not as you remember him. In this film, HE will be a SHE. That’s right…Jimmy Olsen is now going to be JENNY Olsen. Now, IMDB isn’t the most reliable source for movie info, ironically enough. However, when watching the latest trailer, you see a bit in which Perry White, played by Lawrence Fishburne, is charging away from an explosion with a woman.

The woman, unknown actress Rebecca Buller, looks exactly like the actress listed on IMDB whose playing Jenny Olsen. So…it looks like this is legit information, but it’s still not 100%.
