Hello everyone! This is your comic book supervillain, Richard Purnell, here! It is friday, which means that it is time for a brand new episode of COMICS! This weeks episode features a wave of comic reviews! However, the biggest review this week is of DC Comics’s newest event story: Forever Evil! The first issue of the event has hit the shelves, and I’m here to give you my two cents on the comic itself. Also, and I think you Director’s Cut fans might like this, I review a brand new Star Wars comic that gives us a look at what the original Star Wars could have been like. So, this is a big week for Superman fans, and I don’t just mean because Man of Steel is out in theaters. DC Comics, who has been struggling with ALL of their Superman books for years, might have finally released a comic worthy to be a Superman book! The book is called Superman Unchained, and it’s written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Jim Lee. Before you ask, no….the S is not silent. Superman Unchained is probably my most anticipated superhero comic to be released this year. I mean, my favorite writer and a legendary artist is tackling the series. So of course I am pumped to read it! Now, the book has finally been released, and so the big question is this. Is the book any good? Well, you’ll just have to find out by watching my newest video! COMICS! Celebrates 100 Episodes This Week!!!

Thanksgiving isn’t the only thing to celebrate this week…..and I’m not talking about Black Friday, kids!

HELLO EVERYONE! It’s your Nostalgic Avenger, Richard, here! Now, I’m am super duper excited right now! Why? Well, This week will see the release of the 100th episode of COMICS! AHHHHHHHHH! Holy s#!%, Batman! It’s real crazy that Carter and I have done that many episodes! 100 episodes ago, Carter and I were just two guys whom love comics, but couldn’t fully express it. Now, we expressed the crap outta ourselves every week. Not literally, of course…….ANYWAYS! So, we wanted to thank everyone for watching the show, and making it last as long as it has and wanting it to go on. Carter and I aren’t even close to finished making episodes, so It’s nice to see that some of you aren’t even close to being done watching! You are all the best! Now, to celebrate, Carter and I will be doing a LIVE episode of COMICS! on Sunday at 7pm EST. You heard correct! COMICS! will be live this week! Also, we will be answering questions those of you asked in the previous episode, which you can watch by clicking the photo! Ask us a question, and you can be apart of our live episode! It has finally arrived!!!!

So, DC Comics announced a while back that they would be releasing prequel stories to the companies famed Graphic Novel: Watchmen. I even appeared on the show one day, and talked of my feelings towards it. I might have shocked Dan when I said I was excited! At first, I wasn’t pissed off, or excited, I was just neutral on the idea. However, when I saw the creative teams involved, I instantly became excited!
