The Director’s Cut vs. Unknown/ I Am Number Four

Unknown
Unknown
This week on the Director’s Cut, Dan and Ollie pull yet another double feature out of the hat for the listeners! Dan saw I Am Number Four, and Ollie saw Unknown. Although there was plenty to talk about, movie-wise, the guys still made plenty of time to talk about their personal lives (like always). Brian provides awesome content from the net and gives us the latest in gadgets and gizmos! Plus, Sean has an animated movie as a pick for the Elitist Corner! Who freakin knew?! It’s the Director’s Cut, the guy’s show about personal stuff.

The Director’s Cut vs. The Eagle/ Justin Bieber

This week on the Director’s Cut, the guys go off and see two movies. Ollie saw The Eagle, and Dan (of all people) went to see the Justin Bieber movie. Actually, come to think of it, it’s not surprising at all that Dan saw Justin Bieber. Dan LOVES boyband, pop music, New Kidsesque stuff. Brian’s also got a few opinions on what’s been going on in the news and Sean, ah.. Sean. He’s still Sean. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guy’s show about predictable unpredictability.

The Director’s Cut vs. The Roommate

The Roommate
The Roommate
This week on the Director’s Cut radio show, things go back to normal. Dan is back in charge and it’s as though nothing ever changed. In fact, the listeners get a double review! Dan goes to see The Roommate, and Ollie sees Sanctum in 3D. What happens? Oh you know, the same as always. Dan makes some inflammatory statements, Ollie goes along with them, Sean calls and makes everyone feel guilty for not watching some art film that nobody cares about, and Dan insults Ollie for about a half hour. See? Totally normal. Right down to the part where the guys talk about hot chicks. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guy’s show about normalcy.

The Directors Cut VS The Company Men

the company men
This week on the Director’s Cut, Dan and Ollie talk about The Company Men. No, not any men belonging to any company that you’re in or even know of. It’s the star-studded new Oscar-bating flick about the recession and unemployment. Fortunately, Brian’s in the house to give us the latest news and abuse from Hollywood, the Internet, and beyond because otherwise the show would have been quite depressing. As a bonus, Dan also saw No Strings Attached, which later inspired a story from Ollie’s long-past womanizing days. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guys show about unemployed “F” buddies.

The Director’s Cut vs. Season Of The Witch

Season Of The Witch
Season Of The Witch

This week on the Director’s Cut, the guys watch Nick Cage’s latest flick: Season Of The Witch. There were a number of interesting things said during the show, and some of them may actually have pertained to the movie… then again, maybe not. Brian scooped Hollywood and the internet, once again, to give the guys and our listeners plenty of conversation pieces for the week. We also hear a bit from Sean as to why we need to see his latest suggestion on The Elitist Corner. Plus we have a the lovely, Casey Messer in-studio to give a review of Country Strong (and you can bet your @#$%, we played the Big Sausage Game)! It’s the Director’s Cut, the guy’s show about compromising positions!

The Director’s Cut vs. Christmas… AGAIN!!!

Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays

This week on the Director’s Cut, the guys get a few special guests on and have themselves a Holiday Spectacular! Featuring: Phil Gunn, Sean Gandert, Becky Vogsland, The Merkin Man, Davenport, Zon Son of Thor, and Debra West! Listen in as the guys are taught to love movies, once again! What’s that you say? You wish it were a musical too? Well you’re in luck because it TOTALLY IS A MUSICAL!! It’s the Director’s Cut, the guy’s show about Christmas!

The Director’s Cut vs. The Tourist

the tourist
the tourist
This week on the Director’s Cut, the guys (I mean Dan) went and saw The Tourist. So they (I still mean Dan) gave us the most comprehensive review we could possibly ask for. In fact, it was so good, that it leaves Ollie with little to say (because he didn’t see it). Also, Brian’s back to giving us the latest in gossip and dirt in Hollywood and on the Internet. Plus, we play the Ollie The Idiot game not once, but twice. Sean had a great pick for The Elitist corner. Dan hangs tough has he tries to overcome a cold, and Ollie tries to nurse him back to health. It’s the Director’s Cut, the show about touring the inner-most private places of your private parts.

Next week: Tron: Legacy

The Director’s Cut vs. Black Swan

Black Swan
Black Swan
This week on the Director’s Cut, the guys slip off their shoes and slip into some ballerina slippers. The reason is because they saw a screening of Black Swan, and had a LOT to say about it. Also, Brian reveals that he’s fostered a kind of physical attachment to the DVD itself. Let’s just say this; if he could, he’d marry it. Plus we hear from Sean and he’s got a theme appropriate pick for the Elitist Corner. Don’t forget that we have a ton of listener mail that we’ve been sorting through, so be sure to send us yours now. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guys show about ruffling some tail feathers!

The Director’s Cut vs. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

deathly-hallows
deathly-hallows
The Director’s Cut takes on Harry Potter… yet again! It’s truly unbelievable but Harry Potter just won’t die, and what’ more is that this is just the first part. Dan and Ollie have a special guest in-studio to help even out the mixed feelings on Harry Potter: it’s Chris Underwood! We laugh, and mainly listen to Ollie and his bad attitude, but mainly laugh. In closing, we’d like to apologize for the delay in posting this show and continue to appreciate your patience and support! It’s the Director’s Cut, the guy’s show about magic, movies and disappearing show posts.

PS: No survey this week

The Director’s Cut vs. wedding movies!

wedding
wedding

This week on the Director’s Cut, the guys talk about their favorite wedding movies. Why? Well that’s top secret, but what I can tell you is that they slipped off to Moab for a great weekend. No, they didn’t get married, so get that out of your mind. Don’t worry though, last week’s show had all of the goodies you’ve come to expect from the likes of Dan, Ollie, Brian, and the rest of the gang. Brian’s got some interesting news for the listeners, along with gizmos and the like. It’s the Director’s cut, the guy’s show about nuptials, movies, and booze. (not necessarily in that order.
