This week on The Directors Cut Radio Program, we review every major release this weekend; The Debt, Shark Night 3d, Apollo 18. Our top ten list as voted by you are “Top Ten Movies With Fish.” Most shockingly of all Russell calls in from a Walmart parking lot in the middle of Arkansas. This show is packed full of movie reviews and suggestions. Including special moments with Sean Gandert and another one of Dan’s special celebrity crushes. Enjoy!
This week on the Director’s Cut, Dan and Ollie find themselves on stranger tides, and the studio has a number of interesting visitors! Becky’s back in-studio, Chris Underwood, and Rich Shephard! You can bet that things get crazy! Plus, Ollie’s baby makes her radio debut and Ollie threatens to put a diaper on Dan’s face. They play Ollie The Idiot, talk to Sean Gandert as he gives us the rules for a great movie night, and carry on and on. Rich Shephard tells us what it’s like to be a movie featuring a group of vengeful superheros… I wonder what it could be. Finally, the guys count down the top ten movies on the open sea. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guy’s show about diapers and superheros.
This week, Ollie was unable to do the show, his newborn baby is sick and they are keeping a very close eye on it. We hope everything goes well for him and his new family. So instead Becky, Dan’s new “family” has stepped into the studio to take his place. Things get awkward as they both keep saying “remind me again why I date you?” But all things aside, they review “Priest”. Also, you can tell their energy is down because of the adventure they had the night before. Dan is slightly disgruntled because a douche-bag kept putting his hands all over his girlfriends’ butt, and also gave her generous offer of “going to the corner, where your boyfriend (Dan) can’t see and dance” with him. She said no, and was quite persistent. I guess its good thing for Dan; he wasn’t one of the 3 following things: rich, good looking, or someone she loves more than Dan. Besides that, we talk to “The Reel Russell”, Sean Gandert and count down the top ten Hottest Bride Movies. Enjoy the show!
This week on the Director’s Cut, Dan and Ollie take on the god of thunder himself, Thor! Yes, the guys saw the new summer kick-off movie, Thor. This week the guys talk to a few different guests: Richard Purnell, Carter Friend, and Jon Mikl Thor! If you’re wanting to hear about the movie Thor, don’t worry, they totally get to it… I promise. Sean drops-in with his latest pick and the guys count down the top ten movies with a hammer. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guys show about Thor!
This week on The Director’s Cut, Dan and Ollie are humbled by the presence of a REAL radio professional, Kit Missile! Needless to say, the guys somehow roped her into playing the Big Sausage game! Plus, Brian reams Ollie for last week’s prank, Dan talks about his sexual escapades. Also, Sean’s got a pick for the Elitist Corner, the guy’s do the top ten list about race car movies. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guys’ show about make Kit Missile VERY uncomfortable.
This week on the Director’s Cut, Dan and Ollie get a little off the beaten path. Yes, they do the review. Yes, they talk about the latest in DVDS. Yes, they actually talk about the theme of the show: movies. But at the same time, they get on to do a lot of unexpected topics. Dan and Ollie have some phone with the telephone, bust a flow, and make Brian nice and mad. Trust me, just listen to the show. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guys show about making Brian mad.
This week on the Director’s Cut, Dan and Ollie have Debra West (Ollie’s wife) in the studio and Dan takes it as an opportunity to suggest hypothetical scenarios as to how they got together and who’s feelings may, or may not have been hurt in the process. Plus, Brian calls-in with a crazy story about an open mic night that he went to. It didn’t end well, and Brian’s new-found intensity gets way out of hand. Sean has the latest for the Elitist Corner, and the guys talk to their favorite indie band: Loomis And The Lust! Oddly enough, with everything that they had to do, they didn’t review the movie. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guys show about movies… but not really.
This week on the Director’s Cut, the guys get socked in the nose by Sucker Punch! Though we are anticipating the “Directors Cut” version with the additional 18 minutes of footage he cut out. This week, we have Chris Underwood in the studio as they review the flick. Ollie gets excited when he learns Teen Wolf is going to be on Blu-Ray. Dan gets a new case for his phone. What’s new? Brian calls in and eludes to some earth shaking news. Oh wait, that’s not new either. Sean gives us his pick for the Elitist Corner that he uses to simultaneously insult Dan and Ollie, and the guys listen to some new music submitted by YOU, the listeners, and comment. Yeah, that’s right, it’s the Director’s Cut.
This week on the Director’s Cut, Dan goes it alone. Ollie wussed out because he said his eye was infected, or some crap, so Dan bravely took the helm of the show as the lone man on the air. Not that he hasn’t done it before. He brings you his take on the movie Paul, and counts down the top ten friendly aliens in movies. Paul’s the latest movie featuring those two brilliant chaps from Sean Of The Dead, and Hot Fuzz. Also, Sean wasn’t able to call in either, but Dan got the whole thing done. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guy’s show about Dan getting everything under control.
This week on the Director’s Cut, Dan sees a movie by himself… and it’s not even the one we planned on seeing to begin with. Unfortunately, Ollie wussed out and didn’t see anything so he’s pretty lame. What’s new? Also, Dan and Ollie suffer from allergies all night. Plus, Brian pops in early and gets busy right away on adding his distinctive flavor for the show. Interestingly enough, the guys went for almost the whole show without talking about the movie, or movies, at all. Oh wait, that’s how it is every week. It’s the Director’s Cut, the guy’s show about everything BUT movies.
