This week we take on Watchmen. This special edition episode of The Directors Cut we review the Watchmen movie and contrast it with its graphic novel predecessor. Davenport and Dan have read the novel, Ollie has not. We discuss some of the reasons why mainstream movie-goers may decide to hate the film. We also try to help those who are interested in seeing the film, get a better understanding of it, before going in unexpectedly. With this and all episodes of The Directors Cut, Davenport does have a pick of the week, and we count down the top ten Anti-Hero movies. Enjoy this episode and tell us what you thought of the movie Watchmen by clicking above and sending us some feedback.
Kristin Kreuk is super sexy. In the new movie we get to see some of the finer parts of her. This is the second film Ollie has ever walked of. I guess I kind of gave away his review of the film. But, As I said before, Kristin Kreuk is super sexy. We also get to hear the tales of Mr. Davenport and the super sexy secrets of Ollie Riggle. Plus Debra is our resident cutie with some stories to tell. Be a part of the greatest show, The Directors Cut!!!
Yeh this is a late post. Successfully I have decided to be a lame webmaster. But I need your top ten suggestions, for top ten kung fu movies. We saw fired up in this episode and Davenport has a pick. Well just listen to the show and comment below what you think!
Jason Vorhees has been the most hostile former camp attendee ever. Mr. Vorhees’ hostility even defeats Bobby Budnick, (Danny Cooksey) the terror of Camp Anawanna. The only difference is victim “Ug” isn’t a small petite blond chick with considerable enhancement to his chest-line. Mr. Vorhees has taken it upon himself to police and promote christian morals, as personally motivated as protesters of planned parenthood centers. The film we reviewed this week has proved droves of heavily christian conservatives have filled the seats or our nations theatres and have opened their pocketbooks to establish their voices to be heard as votes against the views and opinions of a new highly liberal president. This week on our national radio program, that has set the precedent for testosterone infused movie reviews, we discuss the human struggle and passion of Jason Vorhees in Friday The 13th. Also, we collect, tally and chart your votes for the top slasher film characters. Dan organizes a Valentines Day randevu for Oliver with a lucky lady or two.
We are the guys show about movies. So we decided to go see and review a chick flick. He’s Just Not Into You is not just a bestseller book. It is now one of the greatest battle cry of the dating market. It is not just us guys who are the biggest losers. It’s true, even that hot chick who sat across from you in class, (whom at times, you can see up her skirt, but still not to get too see much) also suffers from dating woes. But the dating pool she swims in, you noticed, is full of jocks or guys who either has, or wants to kicks your ass. So where does that put our show? Well We are the guys show about movies. We are kings of rejection. Our show this week is all about relationship rejections. We answer some of your relationship questions. We also make fun of Ollie. Plus, I think Davenport is going to become very pissed off due to Dan. So, enjoy our show, be a part of our lives, we are The Directors Cut.
So we count down the Top Ten Kidnapping Movies. Plus, someone has been holding Ollie’s virginity for ransom. Since that is almost impossible, because there is no way of finding out who has the sole possession of it, we deny its demands. Instead, we snack on a small log-shaped mexican treat. Also, Davenport gives us some insite on how voyeristic minors find themselves involved in his sex life. And finally, we review Taken. All this and more on the greatest show about movies, The Directors Cut.
This week we review the new Underworld film Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. This is, as you guessed it, the story about how Lycans came to be. We all went to see Davenports pick this week and are very excited for you to hear all about it! Plus, Debra gives us the latest on DVD… sell she at least tried too. The 5 year old from Kindergarten Cop that Ollie had a crush on is now all grown up.
She went from this.
And became this
And now she stars in a film called The Unborn. We can easily get a glimpse of what has made her a star. Ollie may prefer her with Arnie, but I think he prefers anything with the governator. We review The Unborn, we count down the top 10 Return from the Dead Movies. Plus, Davenport gives us a pick to remember.
